Licensed weed delivery does not reach New York City evenly. Of 114 neighborhoods, 84 have ZIP-confirmed coverage — at least one licensed service publishes their exact ZIP codes — while 30 are reached only by borough-wide claims, and 0 are delivery-thin, reached by two or fewer licensed services in any form. The thin areas cluster where storefronts are also scarce, so the neighborhoods least served by shops are least served by delivery too. Which NYC neighborhoods are weed delivery deserts?
As of the latest check, every neighborhood is reached by at least three licensed services in some form. Coverage claims are the operators' own; confirm at order time.
Does 'covered' mean a licensed service will actually deliver to me?
Not always — that's why this study uses tiers. ZIP-confirmed means a licensed service publishes your neighborhood's exact ZIP codes. Claim-only means services say they cover your whole borough without naming your area, which sometimes means long windows or quiet exclusions. The honest answer for claim-only areas is 'probably, but confirm before you count on it.'
How was this measured?
Every licensed NYC delivery service's published coverage (122 services, each license-checked against state records) was matched against the ZIP codes of 114 NYC neighborhoods.
